Main St. at the southern entrance to downtown Bishop. In this fresh, updat- ed, and welcoming space that reflects the community’s spirit, guests will find the same friendly faces, the same wealth of knowledge, and the same commitment to making Bishop the best place to live, work, and explore. For more than 50 years, the Chamber and Information Center greeted travelers from its iconic A-frame building in Bishop City Park. Generations of adventurers, climbers, anglers, fall-color seekers, and families stopped at the beloved little lodge-style building to pick up maps, ask questions, or simply get their bearings.
